The Diploma in Building Services Management is designed to prepare students for entry-level roles in the growing field of facilities and property management, driven by the increasing demand for skilled professionals in building and infrastructure sectors.
The programme provides a balanced combination of technical knowledge and essential soft skills to enable graduates to effectively manage real-world building operations and maintenance environments. Key areas of study include building systems, facility operations, safety practices, and industry-relevant competencies required in modern built environments.
A key component of the programme is the 24-week industry internship, which offers practical exposure and hands-on experience in real working environments. This enables students to apply their knowledge, develop professional skills, and gain valuable industry insight.
Upon completion, graduates are well-positioned to pursue career opportunities in the facilities and property management sector, including roles such as Facilities Manager, Hotel Engineer, and Maintenance Supervisor.

To provide industry exposure through structured internship and on-the-job training, enhancing employability and practical skill development.
Program Structure
Internship Included
Duration: 6 Months
The 24-week industry internship provides students with real-world experience in the facilities management sector. Students gain exposure to building construction technologies, materials, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, while also understanding workplace safety and regulatory requirements. Students who are unable to undertake the internship are required to complete a research project.

Language
English proficiency as per Singapore PEI requirements (GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent, or placement test).
Experience
Applicants aged 30 years and above with at least 8 years of relevant work experience may be considered, subject to institutional assessment.
