ISICO | Skill Development NGO
The ISICO (Indian Skill Institute Cooperation) hereby invites training institutions, skill development centres, educational organizations, industry training units, and individual trainers and independent learning service providers operating across India, including tutors, mentors, online educators, and providers of digital education content, to associate with its Skill Ecosystem Platform.
The platform is established to provide a structured and integrated framework connecting education, skill development, and employment pathways. ISICO seeks to facilitate coordinated participation of institutions and individual professionals in order to enhance the accessibility, organization, and delivery of skill-based education.
Eligible entities and individuals may onboard and present their courses, training programmes, certification offerings, and digital learning content through the platform. The system enables structured presentation and wider outreach, allowing learners to identify and access appropriate training opportunities in an organized manner.
The ecosystem follows a sector-aligned and outcome-oriented approach and supports learning progression from foundation level to professional level. A hybrid delivery model combining digital and on-ground modes is adopted to ensure effective and inclusive implementation.
The initiatives of ISICO are aligned with the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the areas of quality education, decent work, and inclusive economic development.
ISICO proposes to undertake skill development initiatives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders in future phases, including initiatives supported under Corporate Social Responsibility and alignment with applicable Government schemes. Associated institutions and professionals may be considered for participation as stakeholders in such initiatives, subject to alignment and requirements.
